Event Rider Masters 2019 – two new venues confirmed. Set in 2016 to revolutionise international eventing, especially in terms of excitement, spectator engagement and media coverage, the UK-developed eventing series has brought Rock N Roll to equestrian sports.

Attractive venues, cross country competition in reverse order as exciting finale after dressage and jumping, competitions reduced from 4 to 2 days, free live webcast and high social media engagement with a lot of opportunities for the audience to interac. After the great success in the first year, new legs in continental Europe have been added, season after season.

6 legs in 5 countries. Germany has been represented in the ERM calendar since 2017 with the eventing part of the Pfingstturnier in front of Biebrich Castle in Wiesbaden. Chatsworth in England, Jardy in France and Arville in Belgium are ERM again are ERM legs in the fourth season. The exciting equestrian series with the best riders and the best horses of the international eventing scene will be continued from May this year with two brand-new European locations and new tracks in France and Ireland.

The Event Rider Master was founded by horse owners and eventing pros out of the centre of the eventing sport. Riders from Great Britain and other sports professionals from this environment were involved in the background as well as in front of the camera. In doing so, they have contributed greatly to the development of this super-innovative series, in order to maintain and develop the presence of their sport and to give it a facelift. A modern look and an affinity for technical innovation allow to open up completely new audiences. The series was supported by young and established IT companies such as Equiratings and SAP. Data and statistics presented in an exciting and appealing way is standard for the ERM audience. Interactive apps provide extra entertainment.

The Event Rider Masters are an exciting chase for points and record prize money. At the end of each season an Event Rider Masters Champion will be rewarded. Four days competition reduced to two days, the best horses and riders in the world, all three phases of the competition – dressage, jumping and cross-country are streamed live and free worldwide on various channels, accessible to everyone.

ERM – the three letters also stand for setting the Event Rider and the horse in the focus, to present it to a wider audience. The tension rises as the competition progresses, the emotional level is high, the camera and interviewing reporters are always very close to the riders. “Kiss & Cry” Podium, live scoring, the protagonists change on the podium places, award ceremony immediately after the winner is known. The suspense remains high until the three best competitors, as in Formula 1, are finally allowed to start the champagne shower.

The series begins with the 1st stage of the international Dodson & Horrell Chatsworth Horse Trials. All six ERM venues in Belgium, England, France, Germany and Ireland offer spectacular settings for each stage and are renowned for hosting some of the most prestigious events in eventing sport.

Julia Krajewski GER has announced on her Scoial Media channels that she is planning to participate in the Event Rider Masters in Chatsworth, Wiesbaden and Arville. 2019 promises to be a hot Event Rider Masters year with reigning ERM Champion Chris Burton AUS defending his title, more exciting than ever, the organizers announced. Vice Champion Laura Collett GBR will reach out for the 2019 Series podium, and New Zealand’s Tim Price will not be satisfied with his third place last year.
