Dazzling colours – Yaheya Pasha paints horses
The London artist Yaheya Pasha paints horses – with dazzling colours and dynamic brush strokes, modern, vivid. The paintings of the London-based artist with Indian roots and a passion for horses are full of energy.
The artist grew up in a family of horse people – her grandfather was a polo player and both parents grew up with horses. So the equine virus nevertheless jumped over to her. At the same time she developed a passion for drawing, painting and colour. Later she studied art and design at the famous Central Saint Martins College in London. Her works are part of private art collections worldwide. Her artworks are now based in Great Britain, America, Australia, Switzerland, the United Arab Emirates and Germany.
Yaheya succeeds to a special degree in imprinting energy, vitality and the inner nature of horses on the painting ground – to express it. With her expressionistic style, influenced by Fauvism in her choice of colours she creates horse portraits beyond any mainstream.
Three-dimensional elements, linear surfaces, broad lines, strong colours combined with natural tones – combined this results in a picture of the anatomy and essence of a horse. The artist takes us into her world of horses. Her fascination with the spontaneity, playfulness, wildness and gentleness of these animals becomes positively and vividly tangible in Yaheya’s extraordinary works.
Yaheya Pasha sells her artworks in the shop on her website. Alternatively there is the possibility to have a painting of your own horse made by the artist.
